RECYCLING...

There comes a time in everyone's life when you think of the people in your life and say to yourself "why in the hell do i even bother?" Well its recycling time for the Mayaneye. Been through the cell and deleted a few numbers - hit up my Facebook and deleted a few names - i need to delete my Myspace/Twitter all together - i have a few folks i want to see in person to tell them how i really feel...its all too much. I need simplicity and only my ride or die typa homies in my life. If i tell you that you are my friend or even if i have stated that i love you please trust and believe that its from the heart. I don't deal with females who bring the soap opera shit into my life and i damn sure won't deal with bitchassness (thanx Puff) from a so called man. So again its recycling time - time to get rid of the old shit and recycle it into some healthy compost to be used to nurture worthy relationships. Don't get me wrong i also have taken a long look in the mirror and have a few apologies to make to some dope individuals i have been iggin (not on purpose). If your reading this and your one of the people i have decided to recycle...keep ya head up and i hope the best for you and yours. Peace.

So when the store employees realized she was not gonna pay they announced it and the customers started a riot inside the store demanding that they still get the stuff for free! People stole shit (which the police still dont know who did lol) and fights broke out, not to mention there was at least a good thousand folks outside tryna get in **smh** so when the limo driver realized he wasnt getting paid his $900.00 he turned her in so now she is in jail LMAO!!! Where is the Love???

Being a mother of two i worry about who my seeds look up to and admire, I talk and show them the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. I'm not gonna go to deep with other aspects but this music today has been a focal point in my household. I, just as my seeds are victims to the new joints out and its because of the beats and melodies of the songs. But damn...they sing about some strait disrespectful shit and our children are listening, and unknowingly being programmed. Let me give you an example of our latest discussion. So i see the new video Mario ft Gucci Mane joint "Break Up" on MTV Jams and i like the joint (so what! lol) but when i really paid attenetion to it i was like damn thats fucked up! My son and daughter sitting there singing along basically saying he buys you everything..he dicks you down..he may not come home/cheats on you but "if im lovin' you, why would you wanna break up?".

Where in this song is it telling the female to respect herself enough not to be bought or take any bullshit from a dude? Where in this song is it telling a male to respect a female enough not to cheat, and buy a womans affection? Where is the love??? Your daughters are being programmed to be whores, sloppy seconds and to be happy so long as your getting the Gucci and being iced out. Your sons are being programmed to show his love and affection to a female by making it rain on her, always coming out of pocket and dickin' down females with strait disrespect. These are our children, and we act like there is nothing to do about it "it is what it is". Thats some bullshit, we need to do better folks. We are raising a generation of
disrespectful, hard core, desensitized, money hungry sex addicts. Harsh? Well its true and its sad.

What can you do? Well for one it is your responsibilty as a parent, uncle, aunt, cousin, sister, brother, or friend to talk to them, break shit down to them without preaching. Teach them that they are special and so are people who they may become intimate with in the future. Let them know that the shit in those songs or in the movies is bullshit, everyone needs genuine love & respect. Families are becoming extinct...lets build it back up people.

P.S. Props to Misty Benson on the art work.

HERE'S THE SKINNY

As a woman I don't mind seeing a man with bright colors in his gear. It's okay. But skinny jeans!!! SKINNY JEANS?!?!? This is bullshit! What the f*ck are you thinking? Why do I need to see the shape of your ass, thighs and calf's through your tight ass woman jeans?

Huh?

To make matters worst, you got the nerve to sag your pants. Hmmmm? Let's think about that: sagging tight ass skinny jeans? Hey, maybe you LIKE looking like an inmates bitch? That's not a good look for you outside of prison, homeboy.

And as far as you skinny jean wearing criminals---do not, I repeat DO NOT try to go out and commit any crimes because your dumb ass will get caught. You can't run from the jakes if you don't have any blood circulating through your legs!

I'm very open-minded, but this sh*t is ultra-feminine. I wear tight jeans.....but I'M A WOMAN! This sh*t is SUPPOSED to hug my ass.

FINAL ANALYSIS: Unless you're a gay man, it is unlawful to wear skinny jeans. Extra negative points for sagging, skinny jeans.

Some of you dudes disgust me.

DJ Sayeed - Jump Off The Wall Mixtape!

DJ Sayeed "The Peoples DJ" has done it again. This particular mix doesn't just pull from the obvious MJ classics. The hits are in there, but they are coupled with other gems that rarely get their due on Jackson retrospectives. Each song was chosen to tell a story and the blends are fiyah! Give a listen, as this is one of the better MJ Tribute mixes available.

Supreme Justyce!!!

Fuck Barbie! Fuck Bratz! Its all about these shero's...SUPREME JUSTYCE!!! This is my god brother/sisters (Muhammed/Lydia/Kecia) genius idea please peep the links and support!

Check it out - Ryze N’ Shyne’s Supreme Justyce.

"Muhammed began to envision what a positive girl of color characters would look like, and he turned to Lydia and Kecia to help bring that vision to life. Together, we determined that we wanted to offer girls products that are strong, independent, and which avoid the overly sexualized and stereotypical depictions that are so prevalent in today’s main-stream programming. We wanted to provide girls of color with characters that encourage a positive self-image without taking away fun and adventure. We are striving to erase the current images of women and girls of color being used as "exotic" ad-ons for entertainment purposes and replace them with images of strong powerful and confident charac-ters. It is with these goals in mind that we brought Supreme Justyce to life.

The tween market is saturated with products that do not represent our children’s diverse faces and interests. In addi-tion, many of the products marketed to girls of color are not age-appropriate or are based on harmful stereotypes. Su-preme Justyce is the answer to what the tween market is missing: positive, age appropriate images of girls of color. Every girl has a need to feel accepted, and falling short of the accepted images a girl sees on TV can be devastating to a girl’s self image. Ryze N’ Shyne believes that the solution to this problem does not involve changing our children; rather, it involves expanding what are children are exposed to. Ryze N’ Shyne is looking for the opportunity to break the mold and show girls it is OK to be exactly who they are. Take a moment to meet Supreme Justyce and acquaint yourself with Ryze N’ Shyne LLP. See how we are working to help young girls embrace themselves, and ask how you can be involved in supporting our important work. At Ryze N’ Shyne, we believe girls of color weren’t made to fit in. They are made to stand out." ~ RNS Press Letter

My daughter is one of the many characters of the Supreme Justyce (Kandia the DJ). Each shero is based on a "real-life" girl (Muhammeds daughter - Justyce and other daughters of fam). Pass the site on to anyone you know with daughters. Word!

Be sure to check out the first Supreme Justyce Comic: Bambi on Trial!
